1. Rental certificate
The rental certificate confirms the rental agreement between the tenant and the owner of the holiday home (Kerteminde Byferie). Summerhouse rental Funen (hereafter SF) is responsible for the dissemination work between these. The rental agreement includes the holiday rental mentioned on the rental certificate. The rental price is incl. consumption of electricity, water, oil.
§ 2. Number of persons
No more persons may stay in the holiday home than the number of persons stated on the rental certificate. Pets are not allowed in Kerteminde Byferie’s holiday homes.
§ 3. Final cleaning
Final cleaning is mandatory and cannot be deselected. The tenant undertakes to leave the holiday home in a tidy condition, ie. dishwasher is emptied and all waste incl. bottles are removed from the home. The oven in the kitchen and any barbecue must be cleaned by the tenant.
§ 4. Liability
The renter is responsible for the holiday home and its furniture during the rented period. Tenant is obliged to contact SF immediately if any damage occurs. Compensation for damages must be paid as far as possible before departure. If the tenant fails to notify SF of any damage before departure, the damage will be repaired at the tenant’s expense.
§ 5. Terms of payment
The rental certificate is automatically sent by email immediately upon order. The rental certificate indicates when the rent is due. The rent is charged in 2 installments. 1st rate of 25% of rent is due immediately. 2nd installment is due 60 days prior to arrival. When booking later than 60 days prior to arrival, the full amount is due upon receipt of the rental certificate. If the full rental amount is not paid in time, SF may cancel the rental agreement without notice.
§ 6. Complaints
In case of complaints in connection with the rented holiday home, SF must be notified by email. mail or letter within 24 hours of arrival. If the complaint relates to the holiday home’s cleaning stand, SF must be notified immediately upon arrival. Otherwise, the tenant’s claim for compensation lapses and the tenant is liable for any errors and omissions, cf. section 4.
§ 7. Cancellation
The rent can be canceled up to 60 days before arrival for payment of 20% of the rent, however min. If canceled 59 – 0 days prior to arrival, the entire rental amount is due for payment. The rent can be changed up to 60 days prior to arrival upon payment of a fee of DKK 200, -. After that change of lease is not possible. Reservation fee is non-refundable.
§ 8. Smoking
Smoking inside the holiday home is prohibited. If this happens, a fine of DKK 3000 will be charged, as well as compensation for lost rent, if the accommodation cannot be rented out in the following weeks. Zinc buckets are installed outside for ash and shutter.
§ 9. Force majeure
SF is not obliged to provide the rented holiday home due to force majeure (strike, war, natural disasters and the like).
§ 10. Personal data processing
SF does not collect any information about you other than the contact details stated in the booking process. Your contact information will not be disclosed to others. SF has the right to contact you by email. mail, letter or SMS in connection with relevant offers and news information. You can opt out of receiving information from SF at any time by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
§ 11. Youth groups
Youth groups (under 25 years and more than 3 people) must always obtain permission from SF before a lease can be completed. SF reserves the right to reject youth groups or charge a deposit.
